REER Safety Gate Switches (SAFELOCK)

REER SAFELOCK switches are a safety product utilized in high risk industrial situations. SAFELOCK switches were designed to provide top-of-the-line protection to factory personnel by blocking access to dangerous machinery, preventing employee injuries. SAFELOCK’s sophisticated solenoid design positively and securely locks access doors until threats to employee safety have passed. REER SAFELOCK switches also monitor and report door position to safety relays that can be connected to interlock circuits to prevent dangerous machinery from starting or running when controlled areas are accessible to personnel.

The REER SAFELOCK SLK-M features a spring actuated locking mechanism. This model prevents access to a protected area until current is applied to a solenoid that releases the lock. The SAFELOCK SLK-M models provide a protected area that is locked under normal circumstances, only being accessible when the unlocking solenoid is deliberately energized.

The REER SAFELOCK SLK-E features an electronic locking mechanism. This model prevents access to a protected area only when current is applied to a solenoid that engages the lock. The SAFELOCK SLK-E models provide a protected area that is accessible under normal circumstances, only locking when the solenoid is deliberately energized.
